Alestorm

Alestorm arrives in January 2027 with a 15-date tour of the UK and Ireland, opening in Cardiff on the 14th and closing on the 30th. It is a good moment to see a pirate-themed folk and power metal band formed in Perth in 2004, with a long catalogue by now: from Back Through Time in 2011 to The Thunderfist Chronicles in 2025, eight studio albums in all. The route takes in mid-sized rooms such as the Great Hall in Cardiff and several O2 Academy venues, a format that keeps the crowd close to the stage. The tour suits longtime followers and anyone who wants to try the style for the first time. When buying, compare cities and venues without rushing, since the dates run almost back to back and there are twelve cities to choose from.
