Earthless

Earthless is for people who would rather hear a guitar stretch out for twenty minutes than wait for a chorus. The San Diego trio, active since 2001, is mostly instrumental, and its studio catalogue runs to six titles, from Sonic Prayer in 2005 to Night Parade of One Hundred Demons in 2022. The run in our listings is short, three dates in the United States: two on November 21, 2026, in San Francisco and Austin, and one in December 2026 at Rain City Doom Fest in Seattle. Our advice is to choose by format. The Bottom of the Hill show, with Terry Gross and Carlton Melton, points to a more intimate night. The festival gives more genre context but likely less time with the band. Check the full bill before you buy.
