The GoAllConcerts take
Gene Loves Jezebel plays Lima on 1 November 2026, and that single date in our listings says a lot about who this show is for. It suits anyone who grew up with British gothic rock and new wave and wants to hear them live. The band formed in 1980 around twin brothers Jay Aston and Michael Aston, and the songs people know include "Heartache", "The Motion of Love" and "Jealous". The set is not only nostalgia, since Dance Underwater came out in 2017 and X - Love Death Sorrow in 2023, part of a catalogue of 15 studio albums according to MusicBrainz. When buying, note that the show is at C.C. KANTARO as part of Ouija Fest, with guest acts, so the full bill and the running order matter as much as the headline name. It is a night built for Lima's gothic crowd.
