Get Up Kids

Get Up Kids play Metro Chicago in October 2026, and it is the only date in our listings, so it pays to decide early. The Kansas City band formed in 1995 and has six studio albums, from Four Minute Mile (1997) to Problems (2019). This show is mostly for people who grew up with Midwest emo and Something to Write Home About (1999), and for anyone who wants to see a core band of the genre up close. When buying, check the day: 18 October is a Sunday, and Chicago is the only stop on record. If you have seen them before, a catalogue spanning almost three decades gives you a reason to go again.
