Michael McDermott

Michael McDermott heads into the end of 2026 with 12 dates in the United States between October and December 2026, spread over eight cities including Chicago, Syracuse, Tuckerton and Freehold. He is an Americana singer-songwriter born in 1969, with 15 studio albums behind him, among them St. Paul's Boulevard from 2022. The appeal here is the format. Many shows are in small rooms and house concert series, such as Log House Concerts in North Westport, which has two nights in a row in November 2026, or the Lizzie Rose Music Room. That suits anyone who would rather hear songs up close than from the back of a big hall. On October 25 he plays Chicago with The Duke Street Kings. When buying, check the city and the venue carefully, because intimate rooms hold few seats and tend to fill early.
