The Devil Makes Three

The Devil Makes Three plays five California dates between 18 and 25 October 2026, and that tight run is the best thing about this tour. The Santa Cruz band blends folk, bluegrass, country, blues and punk, and its catalogue stretches from Longjohns, Boots, and a Belt in 2004 to Spirits in 2025, so the set can draw on more than twenty years of songs. This is for people who would rather hear guitars, tenor banjo and upright bass than a big production. When buying, check the format. The 18 October show is the Hangtime Music Festival 2026 in Placerville, while the rest are theatres: The Chapel in San Francisco, the Majestic Ventura Theater, the Fremont Theater in San Luis Obispo and the Golden State Theatre in Monterey. For a full headline show, the theatres are the clearer choice.
