What to know before you go

Check the door time listed by the official ticket seller. Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early to clear security and reach your section.
Security check: most venues prohibit professional cameras, large bags and outside food. Check the venue's official policy before traveling.
Bring the same payment card or QR code you used at checkout. Some venues no longer print physical tickets — phone screen is enough.
Dress for the genre and the weather — outdoor shows can get cold after sunset. Comfortable shoes for standing-only sections.

What to expect

This is date 19 of the 34 that GWAR has scheduled in our catalog through December 2026. There are 30 dates in United States. The previous stop is Bend (November 21) and the next one is Spokane (November 24). GWAR arrives with "The New Dark Ages" (2022) as the latest studio album, according to MusicBrainz. Showbox SODO opened in 2007.

The GoAllConcerts take

GWAR has 36 dates lined up across the United States and Canada, running from 27 October to 13 December 2026. The band formed in Richmond in 1984 and still tours with 15 studio albums behind it, the latest of those listed being The New Dark Ages, from 2022. That matters, because this is a working band and not a nostalgia reunion. The run opens at The Jefferson Theater in Charlottesville and stops at The Masquerade in Atlanta, The Beacham in Orlando and Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale. It suits anyone who already likes thrash metal and shock rock. When buying, look at the venue and the city before the date, since a club show is a different thing from Headbangers Boat 2026, in Miami on 30 October.

The GoAllConcerts take: Showbox SODO

Showbox SODO is a Seattle concert hall at 1700 1st Ave, open since 2007. Its strongest argument is the calendar: GoAllConcerts lists 22 upcoming dates between October 2026 and January 2027, all in the same city. That means you can plan without travelling and pick from very different styles, from the melodic house of Tinlicker to Mom Jeans, Paul Cauthen or Rebecca Black. It suits people who would rather catch mid-sized names up close than spend a night in a stadium. When buying, check the date and the lineup carefully, because October 2026 has several nights in a row with quite different acts. Our advice is to go for the music itself, at close range and without much fuss.
