On the occasion of the release of her brand-new single "La Mia Storia Tra Le Dita", Italian superstar Laura Pausini surprises fans with the announcement of her highly anticipated live comeback: the Io Canto / Yo Canto World Tour 2026/2027, which will be her eleventh worldwide tour. The tour reflects the stature of an artist who has been captivating audiences all around the world for over 30 years and will present new songs from her upcoming new album, "Io Canto 2 / Yo Canto 2", in addition to her most famous songs. For the first time, the tour will start outside of Italy, more specifically in Spain, after which it will continue to Latin America and the United States. This year, I will try to visit as many cities as possible and present a show that represents me 100%. The upcoming album "Io Canto 2 / Yo Canto 2", set to be released for Warner Music, follows the international success of her 2006 cover album "Io Canto", a tribute to timeless Italian classics. A thank you to her first Grammy Award, that lead her to her first triumphant San Siro the following year. This new album will also be released in Spanish and will include songs by Latin artists. It's described by Laura as a passionate homage to the music and voices that shaped her : ""Io Canto 2 / Yo Canto 2" represents for me the summary of my profession, paying tribute to my idols' songs from the past, as one of the greatest forms of respect, putting myself not in the foreground but at the service of that song, and doing it with pride". The first single, "La Mia Storia Tra Le Dita", will be available in four versions (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and French) and is reinterpretation of a classic Italian songwriting piece by Gianluca Grignani (1994). She surprised fans with its first live performance during the opening of the Laura Pausini Museum in her hometown Solarolo, the first museum in Italy dedicated to an Italian artist.
