Midnight in Washington, United States 2026

Midnight is the project Jamie Walters, known as Athenar, started in Cleveland in 2003, and he is still its only constant member. That shapes the tour: he plays everything in the studio, while live he is joined by other musicians with their faces covered by hoods. With 37 dates between October and December 2026 across the United States and Canada, there are plenty of chances to catch the band. Its blend of black metal, speed metal and punk works best in small rooms, and the schedule agrees: The Masquerade in Atlanta, The Lost Well in Austin or The Brass Mug in Tampa. This is a show for people who prefer speed and grit to polished production. When buying, take a careful look at the city and the venue, since the run opens in Charlottesville and covers twelve cities.

The 9:30 Club is a room for people who would rather watch a band up close. It opened in 1980, holds 1,200 people and sits at 815 V Street N.W. in Washington. That size suits shows with an engaged crowd more than stadium spectacle. Our catalogue lists 18 upcoming dates between October 2026 and January 2027, with names such as The Damned, She Wants Revenge, Rostam and Strawberry Guy. It is a good pick for anyone who follows alternative rock and indie and wants to catch several acts in one season. When buying, check the date carefully and decide early, because a 1,200-capacity room sells out sooner than a big arena. In 2018 Rolling Stone named it one of the 10 best live music venues in the United States.
