Sleep in Chicago, United States 2026

Sleep is touring the United States and Canada with 13 dates between 5 and 18 November 2026. Christopher Tafoya was born in 1976 in Farmington and releases Seasons in 2026, his sixth studio album according to MusicBrainz, more than two decades after Riot by Candlelight in 2002. That span is the draw: you get to see a long-running rapper in mid-sized rooms such as First Avenue in Minneapolis, the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee or the Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto. This tour suits listeners of independent alternative rap on Strange Famous Records who would rather watch an artist up close. When buying, start with the city and the venue. The route covers Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Philadelphia and Brooklyn, so there is a choice depending on where you live.

Riviera Theatre suits anyone who wants to see very different kinds of acts without leaving Uptown in Chicago. Our catalogue lists 14 upcoming dates between October 2026 and March 2027, and the bill does not stick to one style. Mike D opens the run, Judah & the Lion and Ryan Bingham follow, and November 2026 brings Sleep, Kathleen Edwards and Whitechapel. That mix of folk, rock and metal is what makes the room worth watching. It is a venue for fans who choose by artist, not by the name on the building. When you buy, check the exact night carefully, because the mood shifts a lot from one date to the next, and plan your route to 4746 N Racine Ave in advance. A night with Sleep is not the same evening as one with Kathleen Edwards.
