Tab Benoit in Houston, United States 2026

Tab Benoit has 28 dates across the United States between October 2026 and April 2027, which makes this a tour worth planning around. Born in 1967 and rooted in Baton Rouge, he plays a Delta-leaning blues that suits theatre rooms, and the early run includes Center for the Arts of Homer, the Academy Of Music Theatre in Northampton and the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank. It is a good fit for people who want guitar and voice up close, and for listeners who have followed him from The Sea Saint Sessions in 2003 to I Hear Thunder in 2024. When buying, check the city and the venue first, since the opening shows cluster in the northeast from 17 to 24 October.

The Heights Theater suits people who would rather see a band with a clear identity than chase a stadium name. In Houston it has 16 dates coming up, running from October 2026 to April 2027, and the lineup mixes folk, blues and songwriter rock. Deer Tick play on 18 October and Kishi Bashi the next night, so the season opens with two very different evenings back to back. November brings They Might Be Giants, GA-20, Garrison Keillor and Tab Benoit, four acts that range from comedy to electric blues. This is a room for listeners, not for people who want to spend the night in a crowd. When buying, take a moment to decide which night fits your taste, because the programming is varied and the November shows cluster within a few days. If blues is your thing, Tab Benoit and GA-20 are the obvious picks, and both play within the same week.
