La band è nata a St. Louis nel 1995 e ha alle spalle sette album in studio, l'ultimo dei quali è Tear Me to Pieces, di marzo 2023. Si sente in un repertorio che passa dal post-hardcore al pop-punk e all'emo. Il tour è per chi è cresciuto con questo suono e per chi preferisce locali di media grandezza, come lo Showbox SODO a Seattle, il McMenamins Crystal Ballroom a Portland o The Wiltern a Los Angeles. Al momento dell'acquisto conviene guardare la sede: il Knitting Factory di Spokane ha un'atmosfera diversa da quella di un auditorium municipale come quello di Riverside. Il percorso parte dalla costa ovest e prosegue per Albuquerque, Oklahoma City, Atlanta e Baltimora, quindi c'è margine per scegliere la città.
